Together we are improving

Together We’re Improving

In November 2014 the Care Quality Commission undertook an inspection of our hospital (Broomfield and Braintree).  In April 2015 the CQC published their findings on their website at www.cqc.org.uk/provider/RQ8
The overall findings were:
  • The services provided at Braintree Hospital were good.

  • The services at Broomfield Hospital required improvement. 


We welcome, acknowledge and accept all of the recommendations and have developed an action plan to improve the quality of services provided.  We envisage that improvements will continue to be delivered beyond the timescales contained within the plan as we are committed to  developing longer-term plans to maintain progress and ensure that actions lead to measurable improvements in the quality and safety of care for patients.
