Important Information - PIP Breast Implants

Following the news stories surrounding the use of breast implants supplied by PIP the Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust would like to reassure patients that these have not been used at the St Andrew’s centre at Broomfield Hospital since 1st January 2001.

We are continuing to check our records prior to 2001 and are aiming to be able to provide information to any patients concerned about the type of implant that was used for reconstructive purposes prior to 2001.
