Mid Essex Hospitals NHS Trust held its second Open / Fun Day on Saturday 8th August 2015. This year the charity benefitting from donations kindly given on the day were the Children's Burns Club.
There were many attractions to see, and to take part in, as well as the option for visitors to take guided tours of the theatres and helideck, giving a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes at a large acute hospital.
The fun day element saw a dinosaur walking the site, bouncy castles, side stalls, beat the keeper penalty competition and serene music from a choir and a faster paced sound from a live band.
The weather again came out to greet our visitors, and with the Deputy Mayor of Chelmsford also visiting the event, a great time was had by all.
