St John’s Hospital throws open its doors to women who have had a baby there in the last 60 years
To mark the 60th birthday of the NHS St John’s hospital in Chelmsford is throwing opening its doors to women who have had a baby there during the last 60 years.
Between on 1.30pm and 3pm on Friday 11 July women can drop into the antenatal clinic at St John’s hospital for tea and a chat with some of the midwives – past and present.
Alison Cuthbertson, head of midwifery at mid Essex Hospitals, said: “We wanted to celebrate the 60th birthday of the NHS and thought it would be nice for some of the women who have had babies there to take a trip down memory lane. We hope to see lots of people on Friday.”
