Local people asked to give their views on the future of their local hospital services
Mid Essex Hospitals been invited to apply to become an NHS Foundation Trust in early 2009 and need the support of the local community.
As part of the Trust’s ongoing public consultation process, the Trust has arranged public meetings in Chelmsford and Braintree to give local people the chance o come and give their views on how they would like to see the hospital run in the future.
David Chessman, Foundation Trust director at mid Essex hospitals, said:” We have begun our journey towards becoming Foundation process and need the support of local people to achieve this. We especially need people to give us their views on how they would like to see the hospital run over the next 20 years and are also looking for people to take an active role in this by becoming our members. These public meetings will give local people the chance to meet and talk with the hospital management team to find out more about our future plans.”
The meeting will be held at the following dates and times:
- Chelmsford, Shire Hall – 23 June from 7.30pm
- Braintree, The Institute – 2 July from 7.30pm
