Hospital Trust is on a recruitment drive

Whilst we are reading about job losses across the country that is not the case at Mid Essex hospitals, which run Broomfield and St John’s in Chelmsford, who are looking to recruit additional staff across all professional groups.

The Trust is holding an open day on Saturday 31 January to recruit nurses, allied health professionals and ancillary staff. These staff will work in departments across the Hospitals including theatres, recovery, emergency and critical care, pharmacy, radiology, neo natal and maternity.

Amanda Lyes, Director of HR at Mid Essex Hospitals, said:” We are committed to investing in and expanding our workforce to ensure the future success of the organisation.  This is an exciting time to join us as we will become a Foundation Trust later this year and our new £148m Private Finance Initiative Hospital will open next year.”

We have set up the open day so prospective staff go through the whole recruitment process there and then.  This means we can meet, interview and appoint staff from all professional groups on the day. There will be guided tours, question and answer sessions, and a whole host of staff on hand to offer advice and guidance on working at the Trust.”

The open day will take place between 10am to 3pm on Saturday 31 at the Medical Academic Unit at Broomfield Hospital.  If you are interested about the exciting prospects of working for the Trust come along on the day.
