YOUR CHANCE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT YOUR LOCAL HOSPITAL TRUST
The annual public meeting of Mid Essex Hospitals will take place on Tuesday 29th September at 6pm at the King Edward VI grammar school in Chelmsford.
Mid Essex Hospitals provides services to a population of 360,000 people from its six sites in and around Chelmsford, Maldon and Braintree. The main site is Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford which is being redeveloped as part of a £148m Private Finance Initiative (PFI).
The meeting will provide the opportunity to find out more about how the Hospital Trust has performed during the past year and to question the Trust Board about all aspects of hospital care and the organisation’s plans for the future.
Mike Adams, Interim Trust Chairman, said:” Once again it has been a very busy year for the Trust and we have performed very well. The annual meeting is the public’s chance to find out more about the organisation and ask any questions they might have. There will be presentations from members of the Trust Board, including a review of the 2008/09 financial year and a look ahead to what’s happening in 2009/10 and beyond. There will also be the chance to meet Professor Graham Ramsay, our new Chief Executive.
I hope as many people as possible will attend.”
