New support group for prostate cancer patients
A new support group is being set up in Chelmsford for men diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The prostate cancer support group is the brainchild of Chris Stubbings, uro oncology clinical nurse specialist at Broomfield Hospital.
Chris said:” The aim of the group is to offer support for all men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I want it to be run by the men themselves, so they will be able to decide what they want out of the group, where we should meet etc.
The first meeting of the group will take place between 6.30pm and 8.30pm on Monday 24 May in the Medical Academic Unit at Broomfield Hospital.
