Your chance to shape cancer services in mid Essex (MEETING CANCELLED)
If you would like to have a say in how cancer services in mid Essex are run and shaped for the future, then you could be interested in joining the cancer services user group.
The group is made up of patients, carers and medical professional meet on a regular basis to discuss cancer services in mid Essex and they are looking for new members.
Matt Riddleston, Macmillan lead cancer nurse at mid Essex hospitals, said:” We welcome anyone who has an interest in cancer to come along and find out more about the group. It might be that you are a cancer patient, or carer of a patient, or someone how just has an interest in cancer – everyone is welcome.”
The group are inviting anyone who is interested to come along to an introductory meeting, hosted by Graham Ramsay – chief executive of mid Essex hospitals. This will be held on Saturday 12th June 2010 from 10:00-13:00 in the Medical Academic Unit, Lecture Theatre 1 at Broomfield Hospital. A light lunch & refreshments will be provided and car parking will be free of charge.
