2010 Annual Public Meeting for Hospital Trust
Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust, that run Broomfield and St John's Hospitals in Chelmsford, will hold its annual public meeting for 2009/10 on Tuesday 28th September.
The annual meeting, which is open to the public and will be held between 6:pm and 8:pm at the Medical Academic Unit at Broomfield Hospital, will discuss the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts together with the new Quality Accounts which examines care standards and patient safety. There will be presentations from members of the Trust Board, including a review of the 2009/10 financial year, and the opportunity to ask the trust board questions.
Prof Sheila Salmon, Trust chair, said “ I hope as many people as possible will come to the meeting to hear about our plans and celebrate our great achievements over the last 12 months.”

Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust provides a comprehensive range of acute and community based services. It also hosts regional plastics, head and neck and upper gastrointestinal (upper GI) surgical services and a supra-regional burns service to a population of 9.8 million.
