New Director of Finance at Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust
Nick Gerrard was appointed as the new Director of Finance on 15 March, following a competitive interview process.
Nick was previously Director of Finance at Suffolk Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, where he worked from 2007. Nick has many years experience working in senior financial roles within the NHS.
Nick said:” I am very pleased to have been appointed as the Trust’s new Director of Finance. With the opening of the new hospital wing and the prospect of Foundation Trust status, these are very exciting times for the hospital."
Malcolm Stamp, Chief Executive of Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust said: “I would like to congratulate Nick on his appointment. He has a proven background in senior finance positions within the NHS, and I look forward to working with him as we put in place plans for our future”.
Nick Gerrard will take up the post with the Trust on 3 May 2011.
