Overview
The Trust serves those of all faiths and none, and we have access to faith community leaders throughout mid Essex.
The team has six chaplains who are well supported by lay volunteers who, after training, visit the wards on a regular basis during the week and help to take Holy Communion to patients requesting it on a Sunday.
The hospitals covered through the week are Broomfield, St Peter's and William Julien Courtauld. Chaplains are currently available on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you are a local minister or priest and you have a member of your church in hospital do please let us know so that we can visit them. You are, of course, most welcome to visit any of your congregation in hospital too, and please feel free to drop in to our office while you are here.
