Essex Cares offers high quality community support services for vulnerable, disadvantaged, disabled and elderly people in the community, helping them to live independent and active lives.
They provide the highest standards in social care in Essex by offering state of the art home care services, providing equipment and technology that can support and enable our customers to improve and enhance their lives.
From over 50 locations, each year they offer support to approximately 115,000 people across Essex. Their services include:
Support at home
Their Home Support Services are delivered directly to you in your own home. These services include reablement, sensory services, domiciliary care and other types of home help services, such as the provision of healthcare equipment, adaptations, aids to daily living and Telecare.
Support in the community
Their community support services include supported access to local community venues and amenities. Their day centres and resource centres offer a place for people who need a little bit of care and support to meet new friends and to get involved in activities that keep the mind and body active.
Social Enterprises
Their social enterprise centres help adults with a learning disability with practical support to learn new skills in a real business environment, with the potential to be referred to the Essex Cares Linked Employment service or the community access team to seek paid or voluntary work.
