Hospital Radio Chelmsford

Introduction

Hospital Radio Chelmsford is a registered charity providing a wide range of radio programmes to patients at Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford.

We broadcast 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. Patients can choose their own songs every night during our request show.

If you have a relative or friend currently in Broomfield hospital and would like to request a song for them, please give us a call on 01245 516450 and we will be happy to oblige.

There are approximately 70 members who all give up their time voluntarily to present programmes, read news, request collect and help with engineering and fundraising.

In 2007 we relocated our studios to Broomfield hospital after residing for the last 36 years at St. Johns hospital. Our new studios are state of the art and now allow us to be much closer to the patients that we serve.
