Learning Disability Hospital Liaison

Coming to the hospital can be a worrying time for an adult with a learning disability, their family and carers. They may need extra information and support to make the hospital experience better.

The hospital has a Learning Disability Hospital Liaison Nurse who can help with planning and preparing for coming to the hospital for investigations or treatment, support when you are in hospital and planning for going home again.

Referrals can be made by the patient or anyone who is involved in their care. It is best to get in touch as early as possible before you come to the hospital.

Please see the contact details in the right hand column, and the information to download.
