Gynaecology Cancer Studies


Study area: Ovarian cancer

Aim: ICON8B is investigating the combination of dose-dense chemotherapy and targeted anti-angiogenic therapy (bevacizumab) in a sub-group of women with high-risk stage III-IV ovarian cancer to see if it is superior to either strategy alone.

Who can participate: Patients with newly diagnosed, histologically confirmed, high-risk ovarian cancer with no contraindications to receiving bevacizumab. More information can be found at http://www.ctu.mrc.ac.uk/our_research/research_areas/cancer/studies/icon_8b/
