Gastro-Intestinal Studies

The Inflammatory Bowel Disease BioResource: Progressing from Genetics to Function and Clinical Translation in Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis

Study area = Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Aim = To recruit 25,000 volunteers with Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, obtaining data and blood samples allowing us to drive IBD Research by any Investigator with an approved project. Whole genome sequencing will be performed on all volunteer blood samples and volunteers will be available for recall to other ethically approved studies.

Who can participate = Anyone with IBD aged 16 and over being seen at your hospital

Who can participate: Over 18 with a diagnosis of Primary Biliary Cholangitis
