Return to Employment after Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery (REACTS)

Study area: Hand Surgery (Orthopaedics)

Aim: The aim of the REACTS study is to understand more about when, and how, patients return to work after carpal tunnel release surgery. This information will be used to develop national guidance.

Who can participate: Anyone who has been referred to the Orthopaedic Hand Surgery team for carpal tunnel release surgery, and meets the following criteria: You work in paid employment for at least 20 hours a week and plan to return to work after your surgery; and you have not previously had a carpal tunnel release in either hand.
