Jennifer Canham, associate director of human resources, was one of the team of ten judges. She said: “It was a real privilege to be a member of the panel. The nominations were so far-reaching. There were some amazing stories about the incredible things that our members of staff have done in teams and individually to make sure the patient experience is a good one.

“It was incredibly difficult to only shortlist three nominees for each award. Reading the nominations was really emotional. We know that incredible things are happening in the hospital on a daily basis and for people to have taken the time to write those nominations just shows how highly thought of members of staff are across the hospital and the wider community.”
