Hospedia is a service available to Patients throughout the hospital, offering Free radio and a variety of TV Packages which include free outbound calls to 01,02 and 03 numbers for the duration of any package brought. Also included in the package are free games and internet access.
Card machines are located around the hospital, as well as Hospedia Representatives visiting wards daily to assist with any problems or to help purchase credit. They can also advise you on the best package for your stay. You can also pay by Debit or Credit card. Hospedia staff are on site Monday- Friday 9-6.30pm and Saturdays 9-2pm.
For those patients that purchase the various TV and telephone packages, outward bound calls to certain numbers are free.
Incoming calls to the patient bedside are charged at 0.50p per minute from a BT landline. When dialling in, callers are advised of charges for this service prior to calls being connected. This is a nationally agreed tariff and not something that is set locally. The Trust receives no income from this service.
For further information on call charges and services offered by Hospedia, patients or relatives can access information on the bedside terminals or by calling the Helpdesk on 0345 414 1234.
