Situated in the heart of the county, the city of Chelmsford provides an ideal base from which to explore. It is only 35 minutes from central London by train or a 30-minute drive from Stansted Airport.

Furthermore, Anglia Ruskin University and two prestigious grammar schools, Chelmsford County High School and King Edward VI Grammar School, are located in Chelmsford.
